Day 2 First Show in Naniamo

Our first show of the tour started in Naniamo which has a great deal in common with our home town of Sydney Mines. They are both coal towns, they are also on the water, and they invented Naniamo Bars and we continue the tradition of making and eating them. As a side note, it’s also the home town of famous Jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall.

The first show required lots of rehearsing. We have some special guest in the next two shows, Rene Cusson on Highland pipes and The Glengarry and O'Brian Dancers.

The audience was great! There were quite a few people from our show in March. We also met some of the local staff from the three Scotiabank branches in Naniamo. We are happy to have Scotiabank on board as a sponsor again this year.
